raw maca brownies

here's a great recipes for raw maca brownies that will not only knock your socks off 
but increase your fertility.

Raw Maca Brownies

Yields: 10-12 brownies
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 8 pitted medjool dates (soaked for 10 minutes and then drained if tough)
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao
  • 1/4 cup homemade almond butter
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao nibs
  • 1-2 teaspoons maca
  • 1/4 teaspoon raw vanilla powder
  • Generous pinch pink Himalayan salt
1. In a food processor, pulse the walnuts until they become super fine crumbs.
2. Add all the other ingredients and process until just combined. You should be able to press the mixture together between your fingers and it will stay. Make sure you don’t over process!
3. Line a tin with cling film and press the mixture in.
4. Freeze for about an hour and then cut into brownie squares/slices.

DID you know....
  • Cacao nibs (raw cocoa)- high in L-Arginine, an important amino acid that increases sperm count and improves sperm quality. Excellent source of magnesium, of which a deficiency can contribute to spasms in the fallopian tubes (among other issues)- making it difficult for an embryo to travel to the uterus for implantation.   • Maca- a Peruvian root vegetable, ground into a fine powder.  It is a powerful hormone regulator.  It increases sperm count and volume, improves motility, and is a great libido booster for both men and women!
  • Walnuts- rich in omega 3 fatty acids.  Recent study shows that 2.5 ounces a day for 12 weeks will improve sperm quality, motility, vitality, and improves sperm morphology.  They reduce chromosomal abnormalities. Omega 3 fatty acids help to regulate hormones making it easier to get pregnant, they are helpful in other ways as well- increase good quality cervical mucus, they can promote ovulation, and they can also increase the overall health of the uterus as a whole.
